When are classes offered?

ISP courses are offered only on weekends as they are intended to accommodate working adults or students already taking full-time college courses.

Lectures and lab work occur on Saturday and Sunday, and most courses are completed in four weekends of study.

How do I determine the transferability of ISP credits to the program I plan to study?

Universities and colleges often change their requirements, so we advise all students to directly contact the school to which their credits will be transferred. Their admissions representatives will be able to assist in determining the acceptability of USU credits from ISP. If you prefer, we can assist you in this process. Do I need to take both the lecture and lab if I have already attended a similar course and am refreshing my knowledge or improving my final grade?

Because your final mark depends upon testing in both areas, it is essential that you attend the labs and the lectures for the course.

When can I begin my ISP courses?

Courses begin each month. Our sign-up process is streamlined to ensure that students can quickly be accepted and begin their studies. Please check our calendar of classes to plan your academic life. Don’t forget you may take only one class at a time. We strongly recommend that you registered for the course at least 5 days before the course start date; this is important for you to start preparing for the first class using our online learning platform.

Can I take more than one course at a time?

ISP classes have been developed to provide intensive study of one subject at a time. We have found that this immersion method works best to instill a depth of knowledge in a very short time. That’s why we offer full-day classes on four consecutive weekends. While students may take only one course each month, the condensed time frame enables them to complete several subjects in the equivalent of a single college semester.

Do you offer online classes?

Teacher interaction, lab experience and online learning are all key factors in the successful completion of an ISP course. We have found that this combination of learning methods is the most effective and engaging approach, offering the greatest retention of information. We believe our students will find that our classes, labs, and online studies provide a better level of learning compared to an online-only study program.

How can I drop a course?


  1. The student has the right to cancel enrollment and obtain a refund of charges paid through attendance on the first day of class or until the seventh (7th) day after enrollment, whichever is later. Cancellation occurs when the student gives written notice of cancellation in a form of e-mail to by midnight of the first day of class or the seventh (7th) day after enrollment, whichever is later. The program’s name should be mentioned in the e-mail subject line. The student can also mail the cancellation request. The written notice of cancellation if sent by mail, is effective when deposited in the mail, properly addressed with prepaid postage.
  2. If the School has given you any equipment, including books or other material, you shall return it to the School within 15 days following the date of your notice of cancellation. If you fail to return this equipment, including books, or other materials provided to you by the School, in good condition, within the 15-day period, the School may deduct its documented cost from any refund that may be due to you. Once you pay for the equipment, books or other material, it is yours to keep without further obligation.
  3. If the student cancel this agreement, the school will refund any money that the student have paid, less the non-refundable fees and any deduction for equipment, books or other materials not timely


  1. The student has the right to withdrawal from any of the School’s courses or programs at any time. If the student withdraws from the course of instruction after the cancellation period, which is until midnight of the first day of class or the seventh day after enrollment (whichever is later), the student is entitled to a refund determined on a pro rata basis up to 60% of the course enrollment. Please note: if the student completed more than 60% of their course or program, in terms of hours of instruction, the student is NOT entitled to a refund. Refund will be issued within 30 days from the day the student withdraws. The refund is the amount in excess of what the student owes for total hours of instruction completed, excluding the non-refundable fees.
  2. If any portion of the student’s tuition and fees was paid from the proceeds of a private loan, then the refund will be sent to the lender or remaining amount will be paid to the student. If the student obtains a private loan to pay for an educational course or program, the Student will have the responsibility to repay the full amount of the loan plus interest, less the amount
    of any refund.
  3. For the purpose of determining the refund or the amount the student owe for the time the student has attended, student shall be deemed to have withdrawn from a course when any of the following occurs: (a) student should notify the school of his/her withdrawal sending an e-mail to indicating the name of the course and the actual date of withdrawal; (b) the School terminates student’s enrollment; (c) student fails to attend over 25% of classroom and/or laboratory instructional time (in this case, the date of withdrawal will be assumed to be the last day of recorded attendance.
  4. Student is advised that the official signed attendance sheet is the only document recognized as proof/record of attendance for instructional hours and refunds.
